All of our rabbits are spayed/neutered, litterbox trained, and microchipped prior to adoption. We have single girls, single boys, and bonded pairs in various combinations, all eagerly awaiting new homes.

All of our adoptable rabbits can be seen in person by appointment at our rescue location in Haymarket, Virginia. This is the only location where our adoptions take place. We enjoy meeting our adopters and want to make sure we can give you our undivided time and attention to find just the right rabbit(s) for you. We do not ship our rabbits out of concern for their health and well being.

If you see a rabbit or rabbits you want to meet, please contact adoption@bunnylu.org to get more information and set up an appointment. If you already have a rabbit and are looking for a companion bun, we strongly recommend bringing your rabbit along to help pick out his/her new friend.

Bunny Lu requires that our adopted rabbits live indoors and that if for any reason you are unable to keep your rabbit in the future then the rabbit must be returned to Bunny Lu.

The adoption fee for a single bun is $125.00 for a single bun, $200 for bonded pairs and $150 for French Lop or Flemish Giants. You must have read A House Rabbit Primer by Lucile C. Moore (available from Bunny Lu for $15).
